Data Administrator - Milton Keynes

We are looking for a Data Administrator to join our Product File Maintenance Team based in Milton Keynes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an experience with the Data Processing department, in a supportive and fast paced environment with a scope to learn, develop skills and career progression.

You will be given training after which you will be expected to fully manage the job log, covering mainly information on future price changes and requests for new products. You will be expected to adhere to set quality standards and register incoming workload in line with departmental objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Solely responsible for a central mailbox and incoming post
  • Gathering relevant information to add to an in-house system (Job Tracker); log and allocate cases for review by the Data Processors
  • Receiving and validating new product requests from authorised parties and add them to the log
  • Ensuring that the log is fully completed, and that sufficient data has been collected to enable the Data Processors to carry out their work
  • Communicating with Procurement, Suppliers and branch network via phone and email
  • Working to set performance standards and work with the Data Processing team to contribute to completing the requests within a timescale

In order to be successful in this role, the successful person will be:

  • Highly organised and confident
  • Have excellent analytical skills with attention to details
  • Driven to achieve targets and take ownership of a workload
  • Able to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Fluent use of MS packages (Excel – confident using formulae, Outlook, Word)
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Strong communicator
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced environment

As you progress with the training you will be expected to learn how to add products into the various databases and fully understand the process of manufacturer price change implementation.
