What we’re doing about COVID-19

Like most businesses, we have had to change the way we do things to make sure all our colleagues are working safely during COVID-19.  As a Branch Manager, your job means you will interact with lots of different people during the day, so we have introduced a set of Safer Operating Procedures which include:

  • Additional PPE supplied to you to ensure a clean and sanitized work environment
  • Social distancing in place in all of our branches

Your role as Branch Manager of our Shrewsbury Branch is to make sure that:

  • customers receive a brilliant service when using your branch
  • your team is properly trained and motivated
  • you build branch sales and profits
  • you generate new customers
  • you run an efficient and effective operation by managing your stock and properly utilising your vehicles
  • all mandatory training is completed and the branch is a safe place to work

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working in a Builders Merchants as well as:

  • previous experience of managing and developing people and be great at it
  • experience of working in a targeted environment
  • great planning and organisation skills
  • a driving licence
