The Buildbase Supply Chain Solutions team (Public Sector) have transformed how public sector contracts are supported. Using our extensive knowledge and experience we service over 200 customers with everything they need to succeed.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Partnering Manager to manage our new and existing clients in the South East Area mainly Kent and Essex but a requirement will be to cover the whole South , to deliver an outstanding customer experience to support us in our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Deliver effective relationship and operational management for a portfolio of Public Sector Accounts and Key Contractors within the Public Sector
• Identify and increase business opportunities through regular and consistent communication with clients and subcontractors
• Implement and continually monitor a Customer Retention Plan to take proactive steps to retain our existing customers at the end of our contract
• Provide key updates, coaching and support to operational colleagues to empower them to provide an exceptional service to your customers
• Monitor financial, KPI, quality and audit performance targets, taking proactive steps to maximise performance and compliance
• Support the successful mobilisation of new customer contracts awarded 

Essential Experience:

• Demonstrable experience of effective account management within the Public Sector; preferably Housing Associations, Local Authority, or contractors, however not necessarily from the Building Materials Sector
• A customer service led approach, with a focus on delivering competitor differentiation through the customer experience, seeking opportunities to expand on customer business opportunities, demonstrating strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• A record of creating high-performing teams, driving exceptional performance through a ‘winning’ mentality
• Experience of using data and trend analysis to lead decisioning making
• Ability to effectively work and collaborate productively across sales, marketing, operations and customer delivery teams, building and maintaining internal and external networks
