We have an exciting opportunity for an eLearning Designer to join our team!

What we do is really simple, we sell building materials to the trade and public. We’re a ‘roll your sleeves up’ business with a can-do attitude and we take pride in serving our local tradespeople and communities.  

The Team

The Learning and Development team is very small, but plays a huge role in our organisation.  We are part of a wider HR team who support the business on all people-related matters.  Your HR colleagues are based in various locations around the UK but are never more than a mouse click or phone call away.

The Role

This is a brand new, 12 month fixed term role that has been created to help deliver our eLearning  strategy and includes:

  • Creating a catalogue of eLearning courses, particularly on product training and health and safety.
  • Liaising with L&D team, HR colleagues and internal stakeholders on eLearning projects.
  • Creating eLearning content using Articulate 360.
  • Establishing a strong digital identity by helping to shape and maintain consistent eLearning templates.
  • Working with the L&D Co-ordinator to ensure eLearning courses are published on the learning management system and allocated to catalogues and/or appropriate individuals or groups.
  • Capturing and acting on feedback from learners to continuously develop and improve elearning.
  • Reviewing and updating existing eLearning to reflect current best practices.
  • Keeping up to date with trends and best practice and share knowledge with the L&D team.
  • Ensuring our values are consistently reflected in all eLearning

What you need                                 

We are looking for someone who can get the best out of eLearning solutions to help bring a largely traditional workforce into the digital age.  If you have excellent IT skills, a creative approach and an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time this might be the role for you.

Previous experience of creating eLearning content is essential, preferably using Articulate 360.
