SmithsBriten are a leading distributor of bathrooms across the UK and we are looking to add to our existing team an enthusiastic candidate with previous experience of making multi drop deliveries.

The role of HGV Driver

Based out of our distribution depot in Slough, typical tasks and duties for this role include:

• Reporting to and following work instruction from the team leader/manager
• Helping to load vehicles
• Route planning
• Multi drops of bathroom and plumbing equipment
• Depot housekeeping
• Liaising with our sales office to ensure we achieve excellent customer service.
• Completing all documentation or electronic systems clearly and accurately and in a timely manner.
• Making suggestions for improving the way we work using your skills and knowledge which you bring to this role.
• Undertaking relevant training to meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will need to;

• Hold a Class 2 licence
• Be customer focused and conscientious
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Have a can-do attitude
• Be flexible
• Take a proactive approach to this role
